My father has 3 Philishaves, cheep and expensive. He thinks they are great, but I find them all uncomfortable to use. So I bought a Braun Cruzer 2675, which I used for years now. I think it is great and a perfect place to start. I upgraded to this Series7 because I wanted a shaver that is more quite, doesn't let cut hair fall out on me while shaving, and the ability to shave long hairs without the need to clip it first. So what I found out after trying it is that it is less noisy, but not that quite at all :( It keeps most hair inside, but some still fall out!! Shaving long hair seems to work ok so far, but haven't fully tested it yet. I think it is good, but definitely overpriced. the LCD is really not that useful! If you are looking for a budget alternative then the Cruzer is the one for you. I still have it and it still works perfectly.
